Fund a Future
Scholarships covering school fees, uniform, daily porridge and often transport, shoes and healthcare for children who would otherwise not be in school.
About Fund a Future →Support to TEACH Rwanda funds teacher mentoring, classroom materials, scholarships and school construction. Below is exactly where it goes, and how to give.
Rwanda has an ambitious national curriculum built around active, learner‑centred teaching. Most classrooms cannot yet deliver it, not for lack of intent, but because forty children, one teacher and no materials makes recitation the only workable option.
Funding a trained, mentored teacher changes what happens in that room every day for the rest of their career, and for every cohort that passes through it. It is the highest‑leverage point in the system, and it is chronically underfunded compared with buildings and equipment.
